Privacy Policy

Your playlists stay on your device. Strova stores the service you connect (your M3U link or Xtream login) and your preferences locally on your device — not on our servers.

This Privacy Policy explains how Strova ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Strova application and website (the "Service").

1. Information stored on your device

When you connect a service, your source details (M3U URL or Xtream username, password and host), along with favorites, watch progress, profiles and settings, are saved in local storage on your own device. This information is used only to run the app for you and is not transmitted to us.

2. Streaming & proxy

To play your streams reliably, Strova may route media requests through a proxy component so playback works without browser restrictions. These requests carry only what is needed to fetch the stream you selected; we do not build profiles of your viewing.

3. Subtitles

If you use the online subtitle search, the title you are watching is sent to a third-party subtitle service to find matching subtitles. Subtitles are fetched on demand and are not stored by us.

4. Account & billing

If you subscribe, basic account and billing information (such as your email and payment status) is processed by our payment provider to manage your subscription. We do not store full card details.

5. Analytics

We may collect limited, aggregated usage and crash information to improve the app. This does not include the contents of your playlists or what you watch.
